Mostafa Ahmadi Damani
Flexible Funding Awardee
Mostafa Ahmadi Darmani received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Politecnico di Torino, Italy, in 2022. From 2022 to 2025, he was a Research Fellow in Electrical Machines with the Power Electronics, Machines and Control (PEMC) Institute at the University of Nottingham where he worked on major EU- and UKRI-funded projects including IMOTHEP, ORCHESTRA, and HECATE focused on the design and development of high–power-density electrical machines and high-frequency magnetic components for aircraft electrification.
Since 2026, he has been working as a Lead Electro-Magnetic Engineer in Power Electronics, Machines and Drives (PEMD) team, at Warwick Manufacturing Group (WMG), University of Warwick.
His main research interests include the Multiphysics design and analysis of high-performance electrical machines, design of magnetic components for high-frequency power conversion, advanced materials for electromechanical energy conversion systems.
He is an active reviewer for several IEEE Transactions and international journals and conferences.
