Tianxiang Yin received his B.Eng. and Ph.D. degrees from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China. He previously worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Imperial College London and is currently a Research Fellow at the University of Nottingham. His research focuses on cryogenic power electronic converters for liquid-hydrogen-powered propulsion systems, with particular interests in high-power-density converter topologies, wide-bandgap semiconductor applications, modulation and control strategies, electromagnetic compatibility, and system-level integration under ultra-low-temperature operating conditions. His work aims to support the development of future low-carbon transportation and energy systems by improving the efficiency, power density, and reliability of power conversion technologies in cryogenic environments.
