N-ZEEE are welcoming applications in a final round of flexible funding. The N-ZEEE network+ exists to develop a robust and cohesive community of researchers in the electrical engineering for net-zero energy generation and transmission space. The flexible funds available can support travel bursaries, workshops and event attendance to develop collaborative relationships with other researchers. For this round, we are particularly interested in secondments that foster greater links between industry and academia, with at least £10,000 ringfenced to support secondments and industrial placements.
Applications will be considered on a rolling basis from 14 September 2026 for activity that will be complete by 31 December 2026. Awards will generally be in the region of £2,000-£3,000. Applications must demonstrate the impact of the activity on the applicant, and benefit to the wider N-ZEEE community. Previous applicants and awardees are welcome to apply. Please contact Bianca for any specific queries bianca.j.winter@durham.ac.uk. Application form here.
